The high-performance ULTEM™ 1010 resin offers excellent strength, heat and chemical resistance as well as thermal stability while also being able to withstand steam autoclaving. Thanks to the symbiosis of ABS and carbon fibers the ABS-ESD7 offers very high strength, high toughness and a surface resistance of 109 – 106 ohms, which prevents a buildup of static electricity. Therefore it offers more safety for applications, where a static change can cause charge can damage products, impair performance or cause an explosion. It is the go-to material for the aerospace and electronic industry when ESD safety needs to be combined with fantastic mechanical properties.
