FDM Thermoplastic

Similar to ABS, Only Better.

ASA filament (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is the perfect all-purpose 3D printing thermoplastic, suitable for many different applications. It has a similar chemical makeup to ABS plastic but offers three improvements: better mechanical properties, superior aesthetics and it’s UV resistant. ASA material also comes in 10 colors, more than any other FDM material.

Carbon Reinforced.

FDM Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber (Nylon 12CF) combines Nylon 12 and chopped carbon fiber to achieve the highest flexural strength and stiffness-to-weight ratio of any FDM material. Nylon 12CF also provides a cleaner carbon fiber additive process than SLA with equivalent strength properties.

Lightweight Strength.

The strength and rigidity to replace metal in certain applications. Replace heavy metal tools with lighter, ergonomic carbon fiber FDM tools. Validate designs faster with carbon fiber functional prototypes instead of costly and time-consuming metal prototypes.

High-performance FDM PEI thermoplastic.

ULTEM™ 9085 filament is a high-performance thermoplastic with excellent physical and mechanical properties for high-demand and specialty applications using FDM technology. It is among the strongest of Stratasys FDM materials and its high-strength-to-weight ratio makes it well suited for high-strength/low-weight applications. Additionally, ULTEM™ 9085 filament possesses high impact resistance and very good chemical tolerance, and meets multiple transportation industry standards for flame, smoke, and toxicity requirements.

ULTEM™ 9085 filament certified grade has the same characteristics but also comes with traceability documentation and meets more extensive and stringent test criteria. A Certificate of Analysis enables users to track the filament back to the raw pellet stock. A Certificate of Conformance identifies compliance with approved Stratasys and industry standards. This makes ULTEM™ 9085 filament certified grade highly suitable for industries that require a higher level of material traceability.

PC is a polycarbonate FDM® filament that brings the attributes of this industrial plastic to 3D printing applications. PC is characterized by its high strength and impact resistance, coupled with dimensional stability and heat resistance. These attributes make it a good choice for 3D printed prototypes, parts and tools that demand higher material properties than ABS or ASA. FDM PC is available in white and is compatible with both breakaway and soluble support materials.
