The Stratasys® J55™ Prime 3D printer enhances its offering by adding numerous sensory and functional features, while maintaining the high quality of Stratasys® PolyJet™ technology in a small, office-friendly design.
For exceptional surface polish and print quality, the five material channel, full colour printer has a revolving build platform and a fixed print head. Designed to operate quietly, silently, and with minimal power consumption, it has a compact size and ProAero™ filtering technology, making it ideal for use in design studios or offices. The J55™ Prime expands the J55's printing capabilities to encompass multisensorial, tactile, and textual prototyping in addition to complete visual modelling.
GrabCAD Print™-powered design-to-print efficiency is provided by the J55™ Prime. This enables users to import designs in 3MF or native CAD file formats. Additionally, Pantone® verified colour matching is enabled via GrabCAD Print™. You can simply manage your print tasks from outside the workplace using remote monitoring. Water jet detachable support also allows for the fabrication of complex pieces without sacrificing detail or precision, and it simplifies post processing.

Programmable PhotoPolymerization (P3) technology
The J55™ Prime’s Programmable PhotoPolymerization (P3) technology carefully regulates the forces, temperature, and light during the printing process. It can produce parts with remarkable detail, accuracy, and surface quality that rival those made by traditional injection moulding thanks to its high degree of precision and control.
Multi-material capabilities
With the J55™ Prime, customers may make multi-color, multi-material pieces in a single print by printing up to five different materials at once. It has 12 1.1kg cartridge capacity and its ability to work with many materials allows parts to be created that have a wide variety of characteristics, such as materials that resemble rubber, glass, strong impact, and full colour.
Hands-free post-processing
The J55™ Prime features a unique rotating build tray, stationary print head, and soluble support removal, which simplifies post-processing and enables the creation of complex parts without compromising accuracy or detail.
Pantone® Color Validation
Users may precisely match 3D printed models to the Pantone® Matching System thanks to the J55™ Prime's Pantone® colour validation feature. Match to more than 1,900 printable Pantone® colors and Skin Tones™. This guarantees accurate and constant colour reproduction, which is essential for applications like packaging, visual models, and product design.
Design Realism
Design using more than 500,000+ distinguishable colour combinations plus clear and attain texture realism from matte to glossy surfaces, simulating materials like leather, wood, stone and more with horizontal build layers down to 18 µm.
ProAero™ filter technology
The Stratasys® J55™ Prime 3D printer features the innovative ProAero™ filtration system, which enhances the printer's performance and user experience in an office environment. The ProAero™ filtration system is designed to capture any particles, fumes, or odors generated during the 3D printing process. This ensures a completely odor-free working environment, making the J55™ Prime suitable for shared office spaces. In addition to odor control, the ProAero™ technology also provides silent operation and low power consumption, further improving the printer's integration into an office setting.
Simple workflow
It offers a simplified, streamlined workflow powered by GrabCAD Print™ to optimise the design-to-print process. Import your designs using native CAD file formats or the industry-standard 3MF file format. In addition to the GrabCAD Print™ software, the J55™ Prime provides access to a full ecosystem of workflow tools to streamline the design process. This includes cloud-based services, print-to-click (Keyshot) functionality, on-demand training, and an online community.

Industrial Design
With the material and technological capabilities of the J55™ Prime, certain industrial design applications can be met. Applications such as: simulated fabric light pipes, PC appearance, matte surface, grey finish mimicking metallic finish, glass thickness simulation, 2D graphics, glass simulation, liquid simulation, rubber simulation, saturated colours and colour standards and wood simulation.
Engineering
The J55™ Prime can be used for engineering applications such as fit and form, functional testing, see through parts, finite element analysis, optical transparent modelling, labelling, light components, sectioning and versioning and fluid channels.
