Meltio

Signpost for metal additive manufacturing!

Meltio is a Spanish company based in Linares that was founded in 2019. Despite its young age, the Meltio team has already made a unique name for itself in the field of metal additive manufacturing, with a particular focus on interoperability between additive and subtractive manufacturing.

Compatibility as a guiding principle

Most companies are aware that metal 3D printing offers many advantages. However, most companies are also aware that switching to the additive manufacturing process can take a considerable amount of time and effort. The minds behind Meltio have recognized exactly this problem and have been working on solving it since 2019.

This work has resulted in several solutions for maximum interoperability. With two dedicated 3D printing systems, which are perfectly designed to form a symbiosis with components previously machined by subtractive manufacturing, but also with the Meltio Engines, which allow the print head to be seamlessly integrated into a CNC system or on a robot arm, Meltio offers metalworking companies an essential step towards Industry 4.0.

For future-oriented metal processing in the portfolio

Our partnership with Meltio, although still relatively young, is of the utmost importance to us. With its revolutionary approach and highly productive systems, Meltio allows us to help shape the future of metal processing by offering our partners and customers solutions that are perfectly adapted to their production process and can take their productivity to a new level.

By easily combining additive and subtractive manufacturing processes, in particular with the Meltio Engine CNC integration, we can now help metalworking companies achieve a perfect symbiosis of the two manufacturing processes, thus utilizing the advantages of 3D printing without having to change their production process or construct extra premises.
