Construct biocompatible, multi-material, multicoloured anatomical models that are tailored to each patient and that can be sterilised using the J5 MediJet®. With substantially less handling, numerous medical models may be printed on the big tray of the J5 MediJet® in a single print.

Train medical professionals, students, and field workers for medical devices from any location by printing precise pathologies on demand. Compact and reasonably priced, tJ5 MediJet® is ideal for smaller lab areas.

The J5 MediJet® is made to optimise your 3D printing investment with a lower total cost of ownership and less upfront expense. One platform can handle all application requirements; numerous printers are not required.

Technical Specifications:

Advantages

Multi-material and multicolor capabilities

Using a variety of materials and colours, the Stratasys® J5 MediJet® is a powerful 3D printer that can produce anatomical models that are patient-specific and incredibly vivid. The biomechanical characteristics of original tissue and bone may be precisely mimicked by the highly realistic models produced by this printer, which makes it a valuable tool for pre-operative planning, medical education, and medical device development.

510k Cleared for Clinical Diagnostic Use

The Stratasys® J5 MediJet® is an extremely versatile instrument for medical applications because it is approved for usage in clinical diagnostic settings. The materials used in the printer have undergone testing and been deemed safe for use in close proximity to human tissue. This makes them biocompatible. This makes it possible to sanitise the printed anatomical models with ethylene oxide (EtO), steam, and gamma radiation. The Stratasys® J5 MediJet® is ISO 10993-1:2018 certified for limited contact to tissue and bone and permanent contact to intact skin and is also ISO 18562-1:2017 certified for breathing gas pathways in healthcare applications.

Easy-to-use

With its spacious tray, the J5 MediJet® requires substantially less handling and can accommodate numerous surgical models in a single print. Its unique rotating build platform and fixed print head are intended to increase dependability and make maintenance easier. Along with compatibility for the most recent 3MF file format, which makes it easier to link to segmentation and design tools from other parties, it features an automatic build tray layout and rectification procedure.

Fast

Remarkably productive, the J5 MediJet® can print at up to 30% faster speeds than similar alternatives. Its user-friendly features include an automated workflow, no mechanical calibrations, and a "ready-to-print" mode.

Compact and discreet

The J5 MediJet® offers a best-in-class footprint to printing tray ratio that fits in compact lab areas. It is designed to operate at a low noise level of just 53 decibels. To put this into perspective, 53 decibels is about the same noise level as a standard refrigerator. This low noise level is an important feature for a medical 3D printer, as it allows the J5 MediJet® to be placed directly in clinical environments, such as hospitals and medical labs, without disrupting the surrounding work.

Simple workflow

Stratasys®' GrabCAD Print™ software, which is intended to offer accurate control and streamline the 3D printing process for medical applications, comes pre-installed with the J5 MediJet®. A visual depiction of the build tray is provided by the software, which makes it easy to arrange and place many models. It provides a selection of sophisticated editing tools that let users fine-tune their 3D creations. Because of the software's flawless integration with industry-leading DICOM segmentation tools, users may input medical image data immediately and turn it into 3D printable models.

Applications

Medical models for on-demand training and pre-surgical planning

Patient outcomes can be enhanced by using patient-specific 3D printed medical models for pre-operative planning and on-demand training. This can shorten hospital stays and reduce problems. Research indicates that the use of 3D medical models in informed consent teaching improves patient satisfaction.

Medical device development and testing

Establish uniformity in the development and testing of new medical devices to improve product quality, cut costs, and shorten time to market. When educating doctors and staff members about a new medical device, expand product demonstrations by offering models that accurately represent the disease state your equipment is meant to cure. This way, there are no ethical or storage issues with animal or corpse models.
