Send EmailInkbit is a US company based in Medford, Massachusetts. Since its founding in 2017, Inkbit has focused on combining artificial intelligence (AI) and additive manufacturing to create unique printing solutions with the help of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – and this focus has resulted in the Inkbit Vista™ printing system.
Inkbit has always been committed to conducting its development and production in-house. This allows Inkbit to perfectly align all properties, from the printer itself to the software and materials, with its proprietary Vision Controlled Jetting (VCJ) technology.
This technology takes advantage of AI by integrating an AI-based closed-loop feedback system. During printing, each individual layer is checked by a camera and algorithm to detect potential printing errors at an early stage and to correct them independently. This enables the Inkbit Vista™ to achieve an exceptional level of dimensional accuracy, repeatability and precision, which, in combination with its outstanding speed and multi-material capability, makes it ideal for the series production of end-use parts.
Incorporating the revolutionary VCJ technology into our portfolio did not take long to decide. As a company, Inkbit has been committed to progress since its foundation, as evidenced by over 20 granted patents, and we want to make this progress available to our partners and customers.
This progress is not limited to the printing system itself or the technology within it. In particular, Inkbit is also actively focused on progress in the field of material development, which is why the material portfolio for the Inkbit Vista™ includes several unique materials that open up completely new areas of application.
