Nylon 12 is used in diverse applications such as polyamide additives. In the electronics industry, nylon 12 is used as an insulating material for cables, and in the automotive industry in the manufacture of oil- and gasoline-resistant hoses. In cosmetic and personal care applications, nylon 12 serves as a solidifying and opacifying agent - for example, in face and body powders and skin creams. Nylon 12 is also used in the textile industry, for example in the manufacture of sports and leisure articles, as well as in numerous other applications.
