Send EmailFilament Spectrum PA6 CF15 is a black, high-temperature construction material based on polyamide 6. The filling with 15% carbon fiber has the effect that the mechanical strength of polyamide, which is the basis of the material, is increased several times.
A characteristic feature of this material is that the moisture absorption is halved in comparison with pure PA6, and the water absorption time is four times shorter in comparison with pure PA6.
No heated chamber is required during printing and no deformation (shrinkage) occurs. The material is compatible with HIPS and PVOH excipients.
In addition, Spectrum PA6 CF15 filament is characterized by very low linear shrinkage (no more than 0.1%) and very high deformation temperature (HDT 240°C) and low coefficient of thermal expansion (0.4 10-5/K).
Components made of Spectrum PA6 CF15 can be used at elevated temperatures up to 150°C long-term (20. 000h) and up to 180°C short-term (max. 200h).
