Somos® BioClear™ is specifically designed for use in medical applications and meets the requirements for non-implantable medical and dental applications with limited body contact (<24h).
Stratasys® Somos™ BioClear™ has passed the rigorous tests of ISO 10993-5 Cytotoxicity, ISO 10993-10 Irritation and Sensitization, and USP Class VI after following the cleaning procedure outlined in the Somos BioClear Instructions for Use.
Parts made from Somos® BioClear™ are clear and have ABS-like mechanical properties and a good combination of strength and toughness.
The material is highly resistant to moisture and many common solvents and chemicals.
